A prized material meets our fan-favorite travel backpack series

Inspired by advanced performance-forward sailcloth technology, X-Pac has become a carry community favorite due to its durability, waterproofness, and impressive strength-to-weight ratio. For this year’s summer 2025 capsule collection, we constructed two sizes of our feature-packed travel bag in a stealth black X-Pac X42 shell and a covert coyote brown lining. In addition, we’ve added PU-coated YKK zippers to enhance CTB's protection against the elements.

X-Pac x42

The X-Pac X42 line is specifically engineered for gear that requires exceptional strength and durability without added weight. With a 420D face, waterproofness, and its signature “X” design, the shell is built for any season, location, or condition.

COYOTE BROWN INTERIOR

Unique to the X-Pac capsule: a coyote brown lining. The 420D HT Nylon lining with PU coating offers a covert hit of color and elevated gear visibility.

PU Coated YKK ZIPPERS

To further weatherproof our X-Pac collection, we’ve added on premium water repellent zippers with RC Coil. This unique oval shape is designed for additional exposure protection and to keep from being easily torn.

SIGNATURE PANEL LOADING

Full clamshell opening allows for easy packing when loading CTB. Internal mesh zippered pocket and opaque security pocket with drop-in pockets add additional internal organization.

ULTIMATE BREATHABILITY

Built from a two-layer construction of 3D spacer mesh and abrasion-resistant 50D monofilament woven, the back panel is breathable, durable, and doesn't pill.

DUAL SIDE-UTILITY POCKETS

Built from strong 4-way stretch woven, the two side pockets expand for larger items and maintain a low profile when empty.

LUGGAGE PASS-THROUGh

Floating back panel acts as a luggage pass-through. Without any extra parts, zippers, or hardware, CTB can drop onto roller luggage for easier travel.

FINER DETAILS

  • Bias cut panels for improved abrasion resistance or stretch
    - Differentially cut shoulder straps for natural curve
    - Aluminum side stay for sturdy side carry
    - Utility loops outside of top carry handle to temporarily clip/secure smaller items
