FORGE SB is a 20 liter soft-brief and the most minimal addition to the FORGE collection. An external fast access panel keeps your essentials organized and protected: including your phone and charger. Laser-cut, locking zipper pulls secure your gear. 

The SB includes a comfortable, supportive and adjustable shoulder strap featuring our new quick-slide and release T6 Aluminum  Lever™ hardware. Spring gated hooks on either side of the strap allow you to change from righty to lefty. A built-in luggage strap allows you to connect the SB to your carry on luggage. 

The SB fully unzips and divides into two separate interior sections. The organization panel has a place for everything, including a padded tablet sleeve for tablets up to 13”. On the opposite side: our suspended magnetic laptop sleeve cradles your laptop (up to 16”) in layers of ripstop nylon and EVA foam. 

Built from a combination of Cordura’s new RN66 Velocity fabric and YKK® Aquaguard zippers for a durable weatherproof construction. Hypalon panels are bonded to the Velocity fabric to form a composite shell with structural elements where you need them and flexibility where you don't.

The new Velocity fabric brings the same CORDURA® durability and quality with a lustrous matte-shine, dust & dirt resistant finish. Black Ember is proud to be the world's first brand to collaborate with CORDURA® on their new CORDURA® re/cor™ RN66. It's the first 100% recycled nylon textile from CORDURA®. The RN66 code name stands for recycled nylon six, six.  That 6,6 rating means it's a high tenacity nylon that's ultra-durable and it's passed the brutal barrage of tests that make a woven nylon a CORDURA®. When compared to virgin N6,6 production CORDURA® re/cor™ RN66 produces 83% fewer GHG emissions, consumes 82% less energy and uses 57% less water.

All Black Ember products are made using our Bond-Stitch high-precision construction. All textile components are laser-cut for precise assembly.  This construction yields a super durable, over-engineered pack with a blacked-out, minimal and stealthy aesthetic.
